My Blog, Out of Sight Media, will be on hiatus for a few days, as I am going on vacation. So, while I am enjoying my birthday and time off with my beautiful girlfriend, maybe you in the audience can pick up the slack.

Ok, I found the video that I did of Michelle Rodriguez as she was having lunch and practicing her French. She was saying something in French which sounded like, “Blah, Blah, Blah,” to me. When I asked her what that meant, she replied, “Birds don’t fart, they blow up.”

Yesterday the Super Lotto cheated me out of millions of dollars. I only got one number out of two plays and two bucks. It is sad the way they cheated me out of becoming a super star.

Oh well. I guess if I would have won, I would be on the next flight to the Bahamas. I would be there for an entire month before returning to work. After all, I could only probably afford to buy one house next to Tom Cruise so that I can get a closer look into his property so that I can snap a picture of Baby Suri. Oh well, I didn’t win! I guess the only bad part of me winning the lotto is that I wouldn’t be writing this Blog. Well, maybe I would have spotted someone in the airport on the way to the Bahamas.

Ok, on to my day. I woke up really late again. I am almost making myself seem like I am lazy. But I am not, I work hard and I am just like people around the world, making every effort to succeed. It was around 2:00 PM when I woke up and fixed the bed. Then I went to do the dishes. Yup! That is right, I do the dishes. My girl cooks, I do the dishes. They are good meals by the way.

I was on Melrose Ave. and I waved hello to a fellow Pap. Just then, it was almost simultaneous, we both spotted Michelle Rodriguez walking back home with her female companion.

Michelle has always been really cool with me. One day, I found her at Fred Segal and she was practicing her French. She was saying something like… Blah Blah Blah… Well, that is the way it sounded to me. I asked her what it meant. She almost choked on what she was eating with laughter and said to me, “Birds don’t fart, they blow up.” I couldn’t contain myself with laughter.

Well, back to the story. The other Pap and I work for competing agencies and we both made a U-turn. We kept it Old School. We gave her plenty of space and were both shooting long. Before she arrived at her house, I rolled down my window and asked her if she remembered her French saying. She started to laugh and waved goodbye.

PS: OK! You got me! Michelle was not the only person I got today. I never only get one person. I got an exclusive story today and I can’t post it because it may mess up sales. I will post it later once it has been sold to the tabloids.

So what happened two nights ago at Brody Jenner’s birthday bash? Well, nothing different! It was all the same nighttime routine. Stand outside the club, hangout, talk to other photographers, make fun of the people that are waiting in line to get into the club, watch the pretty girls cut the line simply by hugging the security guard, and the best part is watching people, and even some celebs, stumble on the way out saying that they are not drunk.

Brody Jenner and Nicole arrived in the same car. His mom also made an appearance. Brody left the party at the end of the night, holding hands with Nicole Richie, not Kristin Cavallari as most people expected.

Kristin was his date last week, after all this is Hollywood. “When I saw Nicole, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I thought that my camera was distorted; Nicole looked really thin,” The Ninja said to me.

Stavros Niarchos was out. He actually wanted to hide from the Paps by walking really fast towards the front entrance. He was using people as shields from the bulbs.

Tara Reid showed up. It seemed that she had already started the party a few hours ago. She was really happy.

Jack Osbourne switched clubs a few minutes after he arrived. He decided to head over to Hyde. I guess he didn’t like the music at Privilege?

Kim Kardashian drove Brandon Davis. They also left the club together. They were asked by some of the Paps if they were dating. Brandon takes his cigarette out of his mouth and responds, “Are you two dating?”

“Firecrotch” Brandon Davis was later asked about Kevin Federline’s performance. He once again takes his cigarette out of his mouth and says, “Why would I care about Kevin Federline’s performance?”

Nicky Hilton and boyfriend, Kevin Connelly, did their best to not be photographed together; and you wonder why Hollywood couples never last that long?

And Shawn Wayan made about a 15 minute appearance. As quickly as he came in, he came out. I guest he just wanted to show face?

Others that we didn’t want to photograph that were also there where Suge Knight and Wilmer Valderrama.

I was up late last night taking shots of Nicole Richie and Brody Jenner and their guests as they celebrated Brody’s birthday at Privilege last night; I didn’t get to sleep until 6 AM. My Pap Alert goes off around 12:00 PM. I get a tip that Kate del Castillo was having lunch at one of the local eateries. I quickly get up and I put on my dirty clothes from last night and I get my gear. I’m half asleep and dirty as I head to see if I can get a few shots. Unfortunately, I didn’t get there in time. But it wasn’t long before I found Keanu Reeves and this mystery blonde heading into Orso.

I only got a few shots and it was time for me to wait. I went into hiding mode and I placed all the shades up in my car to camouflage me. Since I was on the main route I noticed these paps that had spotted my car and wondered what I was doing. They circled the street about three times before they parked nearby. One of them gets out of his car and starts looking around the Orso parking lot to see if he can identify what I was working on. I was getting jumped.

I called The Ninja to come help me out. By the time The Ninja arrived, the jumpers had already called three other friends. I had no choice but to go commando. There was a staircase that was blocked off by a plant. The stairs led to the second floor of the restaurant. I went to the plant and ran upstairs. I was able to knock off a few shots of the new couple having lunch together. The Manager of Orso comes out and asks me not to do that. I said ok and went back into my car.

I asked The Ninja if he wanted to get a few shots of the new couple eating and I told him about the stairs. The Ninja was a little more stealth than I was. He didn’t get caught. Well, I guess that is why he is called The Ninja.

By now, we had gotten a good set. All we needed to complete the set was a couple shots of them walking out. I had a great parking spot across the street from the restaurant, so The Ninja and I decide to wait inside my car. We were sure that we had much better pictures than our amateur-jumper competition.

The two soon came out and we came out of my car. We ran across the street and we started hosing them. We needed to get better shots than our competition. Keanu was cool with us. He never covered his face, even though it was a little flush.

Today The Ninja and myself decided that we were going to avoid any shots that were non-exclusive (i.e., more than 20 photographers), such as Sharon Stone having lunch at The Ivy in West Hollywood. So we headed off to Beverly Hills.

It wasn’t long before I spotted Tori Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott driving down Burton Ave. heading towards Beverly Hills, all while The Ninja spotted Lindsay Lohan and Harry Morton having a day together in Beverly Hills.

There were rumors that Lindsay had hooked up with Stavros Niarchos the other night, thereby taking Paris Hilton’s sloppy seconds. I guess Lindsay had to show us that the rumors were not true.

Lindsay and Harry were laughing together and held hands as they headed to a book store to buy a book. Lindsay purchased “The Razor’s Edge” by W. Somerset Maugham. The reason why I know what book it was is that she was holding the book as she walked out of the bookstore.

Then we decided to follow them, and to our surprise, Lindsay was headed straight to the dog pound, that being Robertson Blvd. We thought that she was going to get picked up by all the paparazzi that hangout on Robertson Blvd., but she didn’t. Only one other agency was smart enough to know that she was a passenger in a new car.

She luckily makes a left on Beverly Blvd. and ends up at the Coffee Bean where she gets a cold coffee drink.

We then followed her and ended up at Harry Morton’s place.

I was cruising the parking lot of Cafe Med to see if anybody worthy was having lunch. I circled and I spotted Eva Longoria’s car. I wanted to take a closer look and see if she was sitting in the front of the restaurant. I didn’t see any other paparazzi and in my mind I believed it to be an exclusive. As I was driving out of the parking lot, Mischa Barton and Cisco Adler were driving in. Two agencies were closely behind them also entering the parking lot. “There goes my Eva exclusive,” I thought in my mind.

I quickly went to the top level parking lot and I got my cameras ready as I pulled into the parking space. I get out of my car and I see Mischa’s car exiting the parking lot. I was about to get back in my car to chase, but then I see them entering the top level parking lot. They were coming straight to me. I just waited for them to park. Funny thing is that they parked right next to my car. Since they were at the top level, I knew that they had to go down these stairs to the lower parking lot, so I waited for them there. I had a straight visual of them. Soon they got out of the car and they came straight to me. I was surprised that the other paparazzi were not in sight. I take my first shot, and then I take a few more.

I run down the stairs to get some nice couple shots. Finally, all the other paparazzi show up. All of us then start walking backwards to escort the couple to the restaurant.

They went inside. By now, more paparazzi start showing up.

Finally Mischa and Cisco leave and we start the chase. I wonder whatever happened to Eva? I left it behind since I had a bigger story.

I actually was puzzled why I wanted to go. After all, I see Paris Hilton almost every day in West Hollywood. The event was almost like a red carpet event. They had the photographers in a nice organized red carpet line-up, they had a press check-in line, and the works. Well, I didn’t have any credentials and so I had to go undercover. In my car, I was carrying a photographer’s vest. Yup! That is all it took to get in, and of course, the fancy camera that I was carrying.

Paris comes out and is showing off her CD to the red carpet photographers. Truly, it was a little too organized for me.

I really don’t know why I went until our buddy Perez Hilton shows up. We talked for a while and we shared a little gossip.

Yup! I Pap’d him.

I took three shots of him.

It was actually the highlight of the day.

I went to bed this morning just after my girlfriend woke up to go to work. I wasn’t partying! I was here at home working from my home office on the edits from last night. I saw my girl go to bed and wake up about six hours later. She jumped in the shower, got ready, gave me a kiss, and took off for work.

She has one of those office jobs. I used to have one of those. I really don’t miss any of those days. Well, I finally went to bed. Three hours later, my Pap Alert is going off. Half dead, I answered the phone. “Hello!,” I said. “Dude, Britney Spears is at Fred Segal. Go check it out!” said the caller. My hair was all messed up and I couldn’t get ready in time. I was feeling kinda out of it. I was zoning in and out. I was still half asleep.

I didn’t want to deal with it and so I decided to stay home and continue with my nap.

The time flew and I was waking up again. This time I was feeling like I had a little more energy and I took a proper shower and I got ready for work. It was about 4:00 PM when I finally made it out the door.

I wanted to find at least one person today. I was up on Sunset heading eastbound and I spotted Linsay Lohan. I knew that The Ninja was in the area, so I called him for backup. I finally made a U-turn and I was on the chase. I was about twenty cars behind and it was hard for me to advance because of all the traffic. She made it passed La Cienega Blvd. and I got caught at the light. I still had a visual. The Ninja was now on Doheny Blvd. and he was going to wait for her. My light turned green and I strated trucking along. Just then, I spotted Carmen Electra heading eastbound. I called The Ninja and I told him to get Linsay while I get Carmen. I made another U-turn. This turn was a little harder since there was even more traffic. I literally had to do the taxi driver technique to successfully make a U-turn. I lost visual for a second. I was looking for her car in all the traffic and I spotted her on the other side of the street looking for parking. She made a U-turn and now I had to make another U-turn.

Carmen parked and while I was making my last U-turn of the day, she went into this little store. I parked my car and now I had to wait for her to come out.

The Ninja calls me to tell me that Linsay ended up in a hotel someplace and he couldn’t get any shots. I told him to join the party. He arrived shortly after and to my surprise he had Hunter with him. To make a long story short, Carmen finally comes out and sees Hunter. It was an instant attraction between the two. She hugged and kissed Hunter and then said goodbye.

My Pap Alert goes off at around 5:00 PM as I was in route along Sunset Blvd. “Do you want to work tonight? Yes or No?” the caller asks. “Let me talk to The Ninja to figure out if he wants to work tonight,” I told my tipster. I placed my tipster on hold. At that moment, I couldn’t decide. I was feeling a little tired and between The Ninja and myself, we already had about seven sets under our belt for the day. The Ninja was kinda feeling it and said to me, “Sure, let’s take the job.” I get back on the phone with my tipster and said, “Sure, we’ll take the job.” The tipster then tells me, “Bruce & Demi’s eldest daughter, Rumer Willis, is celebrating her 18th birthday tonight at Dolce. The party gets started about 9:30 PM.”

All of a sudden, I was excited about the tip. The Ninja and I called it an early day so that we could rest for the night. I went home and I started to work on my previous sets. At about 8:30 PM, The Ninja is on his way to pick me up. After all, there is no point in taking two cars. Not only that, I was a little low on gas.

When I get there, we see a few Paps already there. About 30 minutes later, Rumer Willis is the first to show.

Up next was her daddy, Bruce Willis. Bruce was greeting everyone. He was in a real good mood. He even came out with his little boy and presented him to the photographers.

Then came her mommy, Demi Moore, and her new Daddy, Ashton Kutcher.

Although they were attempting to hide, we still got the shots.

Ashton actually gave the piece sign to The Ninja as he snapped his photo. Followed by that was Lindsay Lohan.

Then came Courtney Love & Frances Bean.

Michelle Tractenberg attemps to make it past the photographers without being seen. She successfully sneaked past a few, but I spotted her.

Danny Masterson makes a special apperance and says to us, “I can’t see where I am going.” I wouldn’t expect anyone to be able to see with all the flashbulbs going off.

Then came Soleil Moon Frye with her giant husband. Just kidding! He wasn’t giant, she is just a tiny person making him look very large. She was really cool with us though. She told us that this is the first time that they have come out since the baby.

Lastly, you cannot have a party without the showgirls and…

without having to cover the restaurant windows with canvas. How else can you get some privacy?

The night was very eventfull. I was not looking forward to all the editing! The editing kept me up until 9:00 AM!

I apologize for not having a new blog posted today. I was up all night and morning shooting and editing photos from Rumer Willis’ (daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis) birthday party to send to my distribution company (www.buzzfoto.com). She turned 18 on August 16th. As soon as I get some rest and shuteye, I’ll be sure to update the blog with my Thursday adventures and photos.
