EXCLUSIVE: The Domino Effect!

It was the middle of the afternoon. I was heading southbound on Robertson Blvd. I was very focused doing my work. As soon as I passed Beverly Blvd., I noticed this motorcycle cop giving a ticket to William H. Macy.

I was headed the opposite direction and I wasn’t about to make a U-turn in front of a cop. So I continued heading southbound until I got to the underground parking structure in front of the Ivy Restaurant. There were a few Paps just hanging out waiting for celebs to arrive at the Ivy. They had no clue that William H. Macy was just down the street loosing a point or two because of his violation.

He was probably speeding or maybe crossed a red light on Beverly Blvd., I don’t know.

Well, I was now headed northbound and I found parking on a loading zone across the street from the action. I thought other Paps were going to jump, but I guess no one saw him.

William H. Macy notices me across the street. He tells the cop. The cop probably told him that I was perfectly legal to hose him from my parked location. William H. Macy has no choice but to wave at me and smile.

After the ticket, this is where the domino effect happened. William drives up a little and finds a metered parking space. The cop remained in his position and started to chat with this young lady. William gets out of his car and was about to jaywalk in front of the cop. He realized what he was doing and decides to go behind the cop. I wanted to get a better angle and so I pulled away from my parking space. I drove a little northbound and William runs across the street in front of me. I quickly went for my camera and, of course, could not get a shot because he was too fast. By then, the cop thinks that I was just stopping for the hell of it, instead of stopping to let a pedestrian pass, and he pulls me over. He gives me a ticket for Impeding Traffic.

I was very sad, because I didn’t even know that they had such a ticket.
