A Day in the Life of the Paparazzi!
I Am Satisfying My Promise To You Guys!
I can’t believe how many posts you guys had on my Keri Russell story. I was really happy to read all of your comments. It keeps me motivated to bring you guys more and more stories. Ok… since I promised that I was going to place my Avril Lavigne shots from the other day up if I received more than ten comments, which were far exceeded, I will. Here is the story…
I found Avril Lavigne driving eastbound on Third Street. Actually, I knew that she was around that area because I had a tip, which made her easy to find. I was actually already heading in her same direction. I was about five cars behind her and she was caught at a red light. Right next to me I noticed another paparazzo and I yelled out to get his attention. I asked him if he was also working on Avril. He said, “Yes.” So we quickly talked about doing her old school, then the light turned green. We were following her for a long time, every time she turned left, my competitor would take the lead, whenever she would make a right, I would take the lead. She never knew that we were behind her. She makes a pit stop at In-and-Out Burger on Sunset Blvd. She was going to go through the drive-thru, so we didn’t want to blow our cover. We wanted to see where she was going to go.
She gets her food and away we go. We ended up at The Jim Henson Company in Hollywood. The Jim Henson Company is an American Company founded in 1958 by puppeteer Jim Henson, creator of The Muppets. So, I guess this is the studio where she lays down her tracks or where she buys herself a Muppet?
She drives in to a private parking lot, so we couldn’t go in. I quickly parked on the neighboring street and I ran out with my long lens. Even though it was a private lot, it doesn’t prevent us from shooting from the sidewalk. She didn’t get out of her car for some time so she gave us time to prepare our cameras. Then she comes out. Initially, she was just looking normal. She was wearing jeans and a shirt. A few minutes later, she gives us more shots, she goes to her car and comes out with a pink hoodie. She couldn’t make up her mind. I think she never looked at us outside on the sidewalk. I don’t think she ever knew that we were there. She was too busy on her cell phone and I didn’t get spit on. 
By the way, how do you guys like the site? Do you guys like the changes? Sorry that I didn’t post earlier, I figured that you guys took the weekends off and so I worked on changing the site.
