A Day in the Life of the Paparazzi!
Kelis Rogers-Jones Films Her Reality Show And Looks Like A Rooster!
I was riding around with one of the most famous producers and directors from Germany. He was filming a documentary on paparazzi. I don’t want to ruin the plot as I want to go to the premier in Munich with my business partner.
It is going to be awesome…
Well, as it turns out, he loves Hip-Hop. Later that day, I get a call from one of my tipsters that Kelis Rogers-Jones was going to be shopping, well, actually filming her reality show along the trendy Robertson Blvd and that she needed us to be there so that we can hose her down and help with the publicity.
Fortunately for our director friend, he was going to have the opportunity to see someone that he really liked. Unfortunately, no one knows her in Germany. At least that is what he said.
We headed to Robertson Blvd and the surprising thing was that there were only a few paparazzi shooting through the window of a store named Alice and Olive, which is a clothing boutique. I was actually quite surprised that there weren’t more paparazzi hanging out. I pulled over on the loading zone on Alden St and I walked to the location with my camera.
I think that I am getting so comfortable being in front of the camera. He was recording me the entire time as I walked fully armed and dangerous to the location. My flash was attached to my camera and my battery pack was on my shoulder. I probably looked like a soldier. 
Once we got there, sure enough, the camera crew was inside the store shooting her. I got a few shots of her and then she came out a few minutes later so that we could get some shots. She went into a few other stores and then I had enough. I could only photograph celebs so much before I’ve had enough. After all, I don’t need 300 photos to capture the celeb and the story. All I need is less than 30 shots.
We went looking for bigger fish and luckily we found it just down the street.
