Tori Spelling Wants To Be Like Paris Hilton!

Tori Spelling and her husband, Dean McDermott, were everywhere today; I heard that they went to Robertson Blvd. (Kitson), then they went to Rodeo Drive (A Pea in a Pod), then later on at night they went to Melrose Ave. (Alpha Male).
They were going everywhere trying to promote their upcoming reality show. The reason why I say that she wants to be like Paris Hilton is because she was trying to get attention when not many people know who she is. Today, for example, many people came by to ask the paparazzi that were shooting through the window the famous tourist question… “Who is in there?” I was one of the shooters in Beverly Hills.
When we told them that it was Tori Spelling, their answer would immediately be, “Who?” I think this is a true sign that they are not well known. Ok… They may be known here in the US, but it is the overseas markets that pay well for images. If a tourist doesn’t know who she is, then all that probably means is that these pictures are not going to be worth much. But don’t get me wrong, I am going to make an effort to make the most of these pictures.
The story of how I found them is nice and short. I was heading southbound on Rodeo Drive and to my surprise I spotted a few paparazzi shooting through the window of A Pea in a Pod. I parked and I shot.

Late Night Meeting, I Spotted Courteney Cox And David Arquette!

I had a late emergency meeting last night with my business partners. On the way home, I was heading eastbound on Sunset Blvd. I was driving thinking about going out that night to shoot since I was disappointed with my one Dave Navarro spot at the grove. Well, when I was passing Il Sole, I spotted Courteney Cox’s SUV. I was talking to my girl on the phone at that moment and I was going to go get her some food. Unfortunately, I told her that I couldn’t since I had to get this story. She understood and I made a U-turn to find parking.
I got my camera ready for night and I started to walk to the restaurant. When I got there to my surprise there was already someone there waiting for Courtney to walk out. I looked into the restaurant and sitting next to her was David Arquette, Laura Dern and Ben Harper. I struck gold.
I was waiting, when all of a sudden John O’Hurley comes out with his pregnant wife Lisa Mesloh. They started to walk up the hill towards their car and I made a run for it. They gave me some shots and I returned to the restaurant.
Soon after that, David Arquette walks out alone to get his car ready from the valet. I didn’t take any pictures of him; I just asked him if he and his wife would give us some shots; to which he replied, “Sure!” They come out a few minutes later and sure enough, he was cool enough to give the shots. They were happy, I was happy!

Dave Navarro At The Grove!

Yesterday was all about company meetings. I think I got out of my last meeting at around 3:00 PM or so. I was about to call it a day when all of a sudden my Pap Alert goes off telling me that there may be a possible Angelina Jolie spotting at The Grove.
I rushed down there only to find out that it was actually a bogus tip, but Rachel Hunter was there and also Chris Rock with his family. Unfortunately, by the time I physically made it to the actual location inside The Grove both Rachel and Chris went bye bye.
I made it just in time for Dave Navarro. I was actually bummed out about missing Rachel and Chris, but I had to do my best to get a few nice shots of Dave. He seemed like he was enjoying himself saying hello to some of his friends.
When I approached him later, I asked him how he was doing… He told me, “You got to be kidding me!” I guess he wasn’t in a good mood after all. I responded, “Have a nice day and Merry Christmas.”

I was doing my normal route when I decided to go check out King’s Road Cafe in West Hollywood. Every once in a while you get lucky, but it was already late in the day and I really was not expecting anything. I was mentally killing time because I am a little burned out. I am actually looking forward to taking a few days with my girl during Christmas and New Years. She is looking for a cabin that we could rent out in a place that has snow, a fireplace and maybe a Jacuzzi. 
When I got to King’s Road Cafe, I spotted non other than Kimberly Stewart sitting down with a bunch of friends to have a very late lunch. She was having a good time with her friends; I was in the left turning lane with my long lens shooting a few shots. There were no cars behind me, so I wasn’t impeding traffic. I was good. Then I made a left and I positioned myself at another location where I could see her taking a bite from her sandwich. It was all good.
I drove across the street and I got a few shots again, then I left. I figured that she was going to be eating for at least twenty minutes and I went to check out Fred Segal, then I went to check out Melrose Place, followed by Urth Cafe and then the Ivy. Nothing! The streets were really empty for me, or it could be that I am just kinda burned out that I need to go home and watch a few DVD’s to help me relax.
I headed back to King’s Road Cafe. When I got there, they where barely getting up from the table and I completed my set. I was actually very impressed with myself. I never got out of my car. Oh, by the way, I don’t like what she was wearing. Do you guys like it?

I pulled into Melrose Place from La Cienega Blvd. I was a few stores into the street when I spotted Rebecca Gayheart heading the opposite direction. She makes a right on La Cienega Blvd heading northbound; that is when I decided to follow her and I quickly made a U-Turn.
I started to follow her because I was always under the impression that she lived southbound. I was hoping that I she was going to head to a store. She kept going northbound and she made a right on Sunset Blvd. I have gotten shots of her before at Poquito Mas Mexican Restaurant, I have also gotten a few shots of her at Sunset Plaza and I was hoping that she was going to stop at one of the two.
Nope! She kept going and finally makes a right on a street heading up the hill into the residential area. She kept going and going. I looked over and I could see Los Angeles Downtown. I was very impressed with the view.
She finally opens the door to a garage and pulls into her driveway. Huh! I guess she has a new house. Well, when she comes out, she spotted me and all of a sudden she takes her stuff from the car. She was carrying a bunch a bags from a bunch of stores. She went to Madison, Fred Segal and she probably went to a lot of other stores. She was probably upset that I didn’t spot her while she was shopping. But, she gave me plenty of shots. She opened the door to her house and took one more look at me. I went home after that.

Unfortunately it was already getting dark. It was one of those moments when you look at your setting in your camera and you are not really sure what to do. I wasn’t going to put on my flash since I was exclusive and I wanted to do her old school. I was kinda hopping that she was heading to the grocery store or to the coffee shop.
Nope! She makes a left on a certain street and I realized that she was heading home. I followed her up the hill and soon she was pulling into a drive way.
I had less time than I thought. I know these pictures are not going to sell but I knew I had to get a few shots of her so that I can have material for this blog.
She comes out of her car; I managed to get only four shots of her before she walked into her house. I was kinda bummed out about that since it was no good for selling. Not only that, I looked at my shots and they were also not that good. This is when all the hatters out there can comment on how I am no good at photography. It is all good. Luckily, it was not a money shot. However, she did show me where she lives.

This past weekend, a friend of my girl and myself came to visit from Hawaii. I wasn’t planning on working but I he wanted to see at least one celebrity. So, I packed them in my car and off we were. First we stopped by Tori Spelling’s garage, well it was actually a television show, estate sale. There was a long line and we did not want to bother, so off we were again.
It was about 2:30 PM and I knew that Isabella had a soccer game. So, I asked him if he wanted to see Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Man, he was totally excited. A few minutes later we made it to the soccer field.
The game was already in progress and I found parking. My girl and our friend got out of the car while I got my long lens and my video camera ready. They went into the field to get a closer look. By this time, I was shooting a few shots from the fence. It looked like I got there just in time. It was half time and both Tom and Katie where playing soccer.
They did look like they never played any sport in their life. There coordination was a little off, but I have to give them an “A” for trying. Well, forty minutes later the game ended and I got pictures of the whole family as they went to their car. After that, my girl, myself and our mutual friend went out to eat.

I was about to call it a day but I decided to go home the long way. I could have easily gone eastbound on Santa Monica Blvd to my house, but I decided that I was going to go northbound on Doheny Drive and then take Sunset Blvd just in case I found a celebrity. As I was heading northbound, I looked into the Mr. Greentrees, a place that sells a bunch of Christmas Trees.
I spotted this lady that looked very familiar. I didn’t quite place her, but I pulled over anyways. I was in the driveway by the time I came to a stop. I started to back up so that I could get a straight shot of her. She looked over my direction and bam, I knew who she was. I got my long lens out and I started to shoot from my car. She then went into this tent where they had the cash register.
I then quickly found a parking space and I took my video camera and my long lens. I got out of my car and I went close to the driveway of Mr. Greentrees. She knew that I was there and she wanted the attention. She started talking French to her new boyfriend. I later found out that he was a model from France. He goes by the name of Roman.
I will show you guys the video later so that you can see for yourself. Well, they finally got into her car and they took off. I went home after that.

I was driving my normal route when all of a sudden I spotted a few paparazzi starting to form at the Ivy Restaurant in West Hollywood. I quickly find a parking space and I wondered over to see what was going on. Soon, I found out from the grapevine that it was none other than Teri Hatcher celebrating her birthday at the Ivy.
I was there waiting for about three hours before she came out of the restaurant. I don’t know what she was eating but it must a been a large meal. She finally comes out and she smiled for the cameras. It was hard getting a nice shot since there were so many photographers.

Nicollette Sheridan Runs From The Paparazzi!

I was working on Teri Hatcher at the Ivy Restaurant. I was chatting with other paparazzi waiting for Teri to come out. She was taking her sweet time. All of a sudden, Nicollette Sheridan runs into the restaurant and no-one was able to take any pictures. Then about ten minutes later, she comes out walking really fast and we start chasing after her.
I was able to get some shots and I was able to get this video. It is really funny! She was laughing the entire time she was running! This is how celebs mess with the paparazzi!
