I was working with one of our photographers on a story up in Beverly Hills. He just got out of my car to go do a hose down when I spotted Kimberly Stewart driving passed me.
I was actually about to start looking for a parking space when I realized that she was there. This is one of the first times that not being able to find a parking space has helped me out. I started the follow right away.

I was doing my normal route when I decided to go check out King’s Road Cafe in West Hollywood. Every once in a while you get lucky, but it was already late in the day and I really was not expecting anything. I was mentally killing time because I am a little burned out. I am actually looking forward to taking a few days with my girl during Christmas and New Years. She is looking for a cabin that we could rent out in a place that has snow, a fireplace and maybe a Jacuzzi. 
When I got to King’s Road Cafe, I spotted non other than Kimberly Stewart sitting down with a bunch of friends to have a very late lunch. She was having a good time with her friends; I was in the left turning lane with my long lens shooting a few shots. There were no cars behind me, so I wasn’t impeding traffic. I was good. Then I made a left and I positioned myself at another location where I could see her taking a bite from her sandwich. It was all good.
I drove across the street and I got a few shots again, then I left. I figured that she was going to be eating for at least twenty minutes and I went to check out Fred Segal, then I went to check out Melrose Place, followed by Urth Cafe and then the Ivy. Nothing! The streets were really empty for me, or it could be that I am just kinda burned out that I need to go home and watch a few DVD’s to help me relax.
I headed back to King’s Road Cafe. When I got there, they where barely getting up from the table and I completed my set. I was actually very impressed with myself. I never got out of my car. Oh, by the way, I don’t like what she was wearing. Do you guys like it?

I found Kimberly Stewart shortly after the gangbang on Third St. with Keanu Reeves. I was headed northbound on Robertson Blvd. and she was getting into her car. I realized that I just missed her shopping, but I pulled over anyway so that I could follow her.
She got into her car and headed northbound until Beverly Blvd., then she made a right. She kept going and going until we got to Fairfax Blvd. and this is where it got confusing. She made a right, then another right onto the first little street, and then she made a U-turn, a left on Fairfax Blvd, and then a right on Melrose Ave. Yup! She was driving normal. Yes! This is how she normally drives.
Well, we ended up at Platinum Motorsports where they add bling to any car. This place is kinda like West Coast Chopper, but for cars. She pulled into the parking lot and got out of her car. There were only three paparazzi, so we all agreed that we would shoot long to get cleaner shots.
She went in and out of the store as she talked to her friends and checked on her car. She was there to change the words “Range Rover” from the boring metallic finish to a diamond finish.
Well, she took off from this place and I let her go. A few minutes later, I checked out Robertson Blvd. again, and this time I again found Kimberly headed southbound. She pulled into this gas station on the corner of Third St. and Robertson Blvd. where she caused a paparazzi frenzy. She received a free hat from the Unical 76 clerk and then she pumped her own gas. She was cool with all of us being there. She gave us all the shots we needed.

Kimberly Stewart Shops At Two Decades!

As I was waiting for Jeremy Piven to come out of Penguin, I noticed Kimberly Stewart pulling into a metered parking space across the street. I managed to get a few shots of her getting out of her car, but now she put me in a little dilemma.
Should I cross the street knowing very well that Jeremy might come out of the store? Actually, it didn’t take me too long to decide.
Kimberly is a much bigger celebrity than Jeremy Piven is and so I crossed the street. I was able to get a couple of shots of her inside the store and then I crossed the street to wait for Jeremy to leave.
Jeremy came out and took off. So, I crossed the street once again to finish working on Kimberly Stewart. Then, she comes out of the store and walks to the neighboring store. She spent some time there enough to allow for many paparazzi to jump my story. Well, she comes out and gets into her car and takes off.

I guess I was desperate to get a little action. I found Kimberly Stewart parking at the Coffee Bean on Sunset Blvd. I drove in to get a spot and I was going to wait for her to get out of her car, but she never came out. Instead, this mystery guy jumps into the passenger seat and they were off.
They headed over to the Pacific Design Center on Melrose Ave. There she parks on the street and feeds the parking meter. They both walked in. I walked in a few minutes behind them after finding parking across the street from the Sherrif’s Office at the little hidden public park. I decided that I was going to practice being stealth while inside the Pacific Design Center, so I stashed my long lens and my video camera in my bag.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find them inside, so I went back to my car to get a better position so that I can get them as they walk out. I knew that they were not going to be there long since they only put 30 minutes in the meter. Thirty minutes is an OK amount of time to wait for Kimberly. Anything more would be a waste of my time.
Well, sure enough, they came out practically as soon as I found the ideal parking space and I let them have it. Well, they still didn’t know that I was around… I was using a new technique.
I think that it worked. My shots came out a little bit more punchier. They made her, a “C” celebrity, look great. I didn’t follow her after that.
The funny thing is that I found her again later on that day at Cafe Med. I just continued driving.
