EXCLUSIVE: Just for Star Wars Fans!
The Ninja and I were doing our normal routine in Beverly Hills looking for exclusive stories. I was driving southbound on Canon Drive and he was headed westbound on Brighton Way. We both kinda met up on that intersection since we both got red lights. Yup! Beverly Hills is the only place on earth that I know where pedestrians get to cross the street diagonally and so they stop traffic in all directions. Well, anyways, the Ninja calls me on my Pap Phone. He says to me, “Dude, was that George Lucas?”
At that time I didn’t get a visual on him since my back was to his direction. So, I had to go around the block. When I got there, The Ninja was already in position and hosing down one great filmmaker, writer, etc…he was hosing down, George Lucas.
George looked a little chubby. It looked like he gained a bit more weight than last time I saw him on TV.
He was walking around with this young lady companion. Does anyone out there know if she is his girlfriend, daughter, mistress, etc.?

great pics! her name is ‘Aleja’. she was his date when he got his AFI award and was with him for all the episode III premeires. there are pics of them together going back to ’99 but really not sure what their relationship is. he was with some other woman at the Kennedy Honors thing this weekend.

Aleja is the nanny for Jett Lucas…she’s been around for a while…filled in as George’s “date”. New woman being trotted around is Mellody Hobson…now that Award Season is pretty much over (GL needed another date) I doubt we’ll see too much more of her. GL will be getting busy with the making of the new Indiana Jones.

Aleja was never a nanny to Jett Lucas. She never worked for GL. She was/is GLs long time great freind and “date” since before Jett was born. She likes her privacy and stayed away from cameras while with him internationally, domestically, publicly and alone with him.

Oh oh, sounds like GLs long time, great friend is peeved about being quietly replaced by Mellody Hobson. Personally, I think long-distance relationships tend to lose steam over time and Hobson is from Chicago…lots of air time needed to keep that relationship going forward. Maybe Aleja will scoop GL back from Mellody. Frankly, I think she and he make a better looking couple anyway and since GLs kids would have known her from a young age they’d be much more comfortable around Aleja and that probably counts for a lot. I have seen it written elsewhere that Mellody Hobson only dates white men with serious money…there are photos out there backing it up…hopefully GL will see through that…even though Hobson has plenty of money herself, what she does not have is access to the same lifestyle and social network that can be had through an incredibly wealthy (caucasian) and recognized man like George Lucas. He travels in circles she will never enter without his association even though she is incredibly bright in the area of asset management. Not to be mean but Mellody is not even close to being as naturally pretty as Aleja. The pictures of GL shopping with Mellody are just weird. To top it off she’s way made up and HEAVILY airbrushed on that black magazine cover she recently did…yup, took out every line on the woman’s face. Airbrushing could make Roseanne Barr look like Giselle Bundchen (ok, not really…but close). So at the end of the day when Hobson takes off her wig and makeup she really looks like the photos above. There haven’t been any recent photos posted of GL with Hobson. I’m rooting for an Aleja comeback.

Maybe it is time for someone different, someone other than Aleja or Mellody. If Aleja was the ‘one’ for GL he would have solidified it long ago and not moved on to Mellody. Not that it is for any of us to say, but it is interesting to observe the responses to both women.

Mellody is still in the running. She seems to be his girlfriend as recently as this week. Recent pictures together in N.Y. Very nice!

Yes, very nice pictures of the two events GL and Hobson attended. She was referred to as either Mellody Hoffman or guest. There was one photo where they were both smiling which was a very nice photo. In most photos GL does not smile which is odd when you’re supposedly out and about and having a good time. Hobson always wears a megawatt smile. Still, an odd pairing. If they’re enjoying each other’s company then good luck to them.

I took a peek at all of the most recent pictures taken by wireimage for the two events last week and Mellody Hobson’s left hand is not showing in any of them so there is no rock to see. I have not read anything indicating they are engaged but if that is true it will surely circulate pretty quickly. It could just be a rumor.

wow… the (anonymous) gals from Marin seem to know an awful lot about Mr. Lucas’ love life… who KNEW he was such a ladies’ man? Now if someone could possibly get him out of his plaid shirts, jeans and white sneakers? A great look for a 20-something, not so great for a sixty something year old man…

Oh, come on Bunny…the plaid shirt, jeans and white sneakers are the man’s uniform…you’ll have to make peace with his outfit…it isn’t going to change…10 years from now when his hair is even whiter he’ll still be wearing the plaid shirt, jeans and white sneakers…although he does sometimes wear cowboy boots rather than the white sneakers…probably when he’s feeling a little wild ‘n crazy.

I have to admit it, I have a crush on him and I’m in my early 30′s. He seems like a sweet man. I like the idea of him having someone nice to love, who isn’t just into his money, but I imagine he is pretty cautious about that sort of thing anyway, otherwise he would have a string of ex-weird-women, no? Lets wish him happiness anyway, it’s a lonely job being Mr Lucas.
