I’ve often found that many wealthy people have let things go to their heads to the point where they literally have themselves convinced they’re above the law, and that a messenger delivering official legal papers approved by our court system for about the same pay as a pizza or cab driver, is suddenly the BAD GUY.

I serve people from every walk of life, and although there certainly isn’t any subcategory of humanity that hasn’t annoyed the hell out of me yet; the wealthy who should be educated enough to realize hiding from the legal system is something silly, and are to me, the most pathetic. At least poor people hiding from a $600 summons over a delinquent cell phone bill from 5 years ago, because having it garnished from their wages would cut too much into their cigratte or beer budget, are halfway RESPECTABLE.

They know where her mother is, her mother is being sued, but lindsay has to *testify*. No one’s sueing a helpless child because they can’t reach her mother.

Who cares what impact this has for fans and their ability to get autographs? are you living in such a sheltered world that a fan’s rights should win out over the law?? They do what they have to.

Even if they could have submitted these documents by registered mail, there would be no proof that she got them. Do you think she checks her own mail? NO! It all goes through her PR people, so they could sign for it and she could claim that she never received it. Simple.

Rey – yes, she was referring to that first autograph of the night. Idiot. Nicole, it was a blank envelope, not a printed document. The docs are in the envelope. Brainiac. Tina, please read the paragraph above. Moron. To all multiple comment posters, you are smart.

And to those who defend Lindsay Lohan – Jesus, get a life. She cares not one whit about you. Put down In Style, pick up The Economist, man up and make a change.
