EXCLUSIVE: Peter Gallagher Shows Us How To Dance His Way Across The Street
Today was kinda like a day off for me. My girl’s mother came to visit. Unfortunately, she was actually in transition from city to city and she could only stay for one day. She actually came from Minnesota heading to Hawai’i, her home. Since there was that earthquake there on Sunday, the airline cancelled her original flight, so she spent some time at our house. I then took her to the airport this afternoon.

Because of that, I decided that I was going to take a drive down to Irvine to drop off my lenses at the Canon Service Center. Unfortunately for me, it is a long way down there; it took me about 45 minutes. I got lucky since there was no traffic even though I took the 405 freeway southbound from LAX (for those of you who don’t know…the 405 usually is a parking lot). I needed to take two of my very special lenses…One is my EF 28-70mm 2.8L and the other is my EF 70-200mm 2.8L. Yeah! They are my most used lenses for my line of work. Ok! Let me rephrase since a lot of my competitors read my blog for information, I don’t use these lenses. They are useless.

Well, I finally made it back from Irvine and I decided that I was going to check out Santa Monica. I got there around 4:30 PM. Yup! It was kinda late and I actually thought that I was not going to find anyone. However, since I always find some story, I ran into Peter Gallagher at the ATM machine withdrawing some cash.
After he did that, he took the time to say hello to a fan, then with his take-away food in one hand and a drink in another, he did a little dance move before waving his food at the traffic to let him cross the street.

That was good enough for me! I went home after that! Ok.. Ok… I didn’t go home after that. I followed him to a local grocery store where he and his wife bought firewood. They bought so much firewood that he had a hard time fitting it into his little Toyota Prius. Then as I headed back to Hollywood, I hosed down Jason Statham again. I think he is starting to recognize my car. It was about 6:00 PM after that, then I went home.
By the way, Happy Birthday to my Wonderful Dad!

Henry:
Getting used to the changes that you’ve made to the site, but I personally still find it a bit of a pain to get a little blurb and then have to scroll waaaaay down past this huge empty space to get to the rest of the story. :S
If you’re reading this Henry’s dad, Happy Birthday!
