I Finally Got Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt! (Part III)
Jan 9th
I was surprised that there were not many paparazzi waiting to get shots of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. After waiting around for about three hours, my headache finally passed and I started to feel a whole lot better. Then I noticed that their car started to move.

Their limo driver took off from the parking area and all the paparazzi started to run after it. I ran so fast that my camera cord disconnected from the battery pack. I think I was running near the edge of the fountain when I saw the first flash go off. It was Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie holding hands as they walked towards their limo. Luckily for me, the distance they had to walk to their limo was far and it gave me plenty of time to jump through the bushes to get in front of the couple.

I walked backwards as I tried to connect my battery pack for my flash. When I finally did, I still had plenty of time to hose them down. I noticed that Brad was carrying a glass of beer in his right hand. I, however, kept my concentration on the couple.

Soon, they made it to their limo and I was able to shoot a few shots of the couple no longer holding hands through the tint. I guess they thought that no one could see them.
What do you guys think? Are they the perfect couple?

I Finally Got Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt! (Part II)
Jan 9th
Ok! I got enough energy for one more… After photographing Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, I was pretty much going to call it a day. I knew that the other Paps that were next to me started to walk to their cars and were calling it a day too. As I walked to the back of the Pacific Design Center, I looked through the glass door and to my surprise, I spotted Ed Norton. He was holding on to this young lady as they walked down the stairs.

I decided to stick around for a bit to find out which door he was going to walk out of. If he walked out the side door, then he would come straight to me and I could easily hose him. If he walked to the front of the Pacific Design Center then I could run to the front, which by the way, was not too far away and I could hose him. The only thing that I was worried about was what he was going to do. This is what he did… he walked out through the parking garage. I had to run around the entire Pacific Design Center and go through the parking garage in order to catch him as he entered his car.

I picked up a few straggling paparazzi as I started to approach Ed Norton and his honey. He said to me, “You got to be kidding me! Don’t you have something better to do?” Since I was the first one there, I could only assume that he was talking to me, so I politely responded, “No.”

He then made another smartass remark for which I also responded politely and then I gave him a compliment. I told him that I liked him in the movie, “American History X”. He then changed his tone and said, “Thanks for the compliment.” He then entered his car and drove off.
Believe it or not, he did meet my expectations! He was very arrogant, just like in his acting! Do celebs know how to act anymore?

I Finally Got Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt! (Part I)
Jan 9th
Yes, that is correct! I finally took pictures of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, but I am going to post the blog for that story tomorrow after I wake up since I am not feeling too well at this time. I had a headache and wasn’t feeling too well while I was waiting for them to come out that I almost missed the Nicole Kidman story that this post is about. So, until tomorrow!

Here is what happened… I was sitting on a bench just outside the Pacific Design Center. I got a tip that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were going to be there; I was home at that time. I went right away to the Pacific Design Center without wasting too much time.

I was in pain at the Design Center. I had a massive headache and I felt a bit dizzy. There was a moment where I couldn’t even sit since I felt that I was going to vomit. Yeah! It is very disgusting (sorry!).

I was a bit distracted looking into the Design Center that I didn’t pay attention to anything else. By the time I actually looked around, I spotted Nicole Kidman just about to get into her awaiting car. The interesting part was that I was completely not prepared. I had my camera and my flash off; I even had my power pack off. I don’t know what I was thinking. But I ran towards her as I fumbled with the buttons on my camera to turn them on. I finally was able to take only four pictures of her before her friend got in front of me. I got an exclusive even with all the surrounding paparazzi; they didn’t even notice her when she came out. Later they all ran to me to ask me if that was Nicole Kidman, for which I replied, “Yes!”

Today was a Shopping Day!
Aug 3rd
I was at Fred Segal’s checking out the scene. I spotted Kelly Osbourne’s car in the parking lot. I was about to pull into one of the parking spaces when all of a sudden the Pap phone starts ringing. “Hello,” I said cautiously. I am trying to be non-suspicious, and at the same time, I am attempting to not give away any clues. “Dude, get your ass to Sunset Blvd.,” my friend “The Ninja” said in a hurried voice. “I spotted Eva Longoria. PCN is on the follow and so is Splash.” Oh well, “Kelly, you got lucky this time”, I thought in my head.
I speed away using the back streets. I start my way northbound on La Cienega Blvd. headed straight to Sunset Blvd. I was a little late because Eva had just past La Cienega Blvd. not too long ago headed westbound. I was caught on a red light there. I finally get the green and I make a left on Sunset Blvd. I am on the chase again, but I have to play catch up. The Pap phone is ringing again, “Eva made a U-turn; she is headed your way.” I was now close to Holloway Blvd. and I am predicting that Eva is going to make a right onto that street, so I pulled over. I am now waiting in the middle of the street on the median divider in front of the Coffee Bean. I see Eva make a right on Holloway Blvd., just as I predicted. Since I was heading the opposite direction, I made a left just in time, almost missing the yellow light. Now I have her in my sight! Eva quickly parks and goes into the store.
Wow! We were surprised that she didn’t give us any shots. So now we are waiting! All the Paps have a little meeting to find out what lens we are going to use. We all decided that we were going to give her a lot of space to make her feel comfortable, so that she can give us shots. We all finally decided that we were all going with the long lens.
All of a sudden, Jordan Bratman comes out right in front of us from this music studio. He is chatting away with these two other girls. He sees all of our cameras but we didn’t do anything. Without Christina Aguilera, he is pretty much worthless to us.

I take a few shots anyways, just in case. You never know!
I do wonder what Christina sees in this guy? She could have picked a better looking guy. Well, you ladies tell me, is Jordan Bratman a babe?
Eva comes out and our cameras are ready. We are pretty far away and she sees us. Our plan worked, she is not hiding and she is giving us the shots.

She was walking with her assistant from this little whole in the wall named Coach. Have you ever heard of that place?
She puts a bag in her car and then she waves at us.

How nice! We all run back in our cars. We turned our engines on. We spotted for any movement. Once her car moved, all of a sudden, four cars moved in synchronization with hers. It was beautifully executed in an old school fashion.
She takes Holloway Blvd. to La Cienega Blvd., where she makes a right. By this time, all the Paps are hoping that she doesn’t go shopping on Robertson Blvd. My Pap phone starts ringing. The Ninja is on the other line and tells me, “I hope she doesn’t go shopping on Robertson Blvd.” I start to laugh.
We are still heading southbound on La Cienega Blvd. and we get caught on a red light crossing Melrose Ave. This is where we are going to find out whether she is going to Roberson Blvd. or not. If she makes a right on Melrose Ave., then all our shots are worthless since that would mean that every Pap and all the fans would get the shots. The light turns green and Eva continues on La Cienega Blvd. I let out a sign of relief.
Then she makes a right into the parking lot of the Beverly Center. “Wow! This has gotten interesting,” I say to myself. She valet parks her car and most of us head up the carport to the “normal people” parking. Yes! Paparazzi are normal people too!
I get a call from The Ninja and he tells me that he is going to meet me inside the mall. I get all the necessary equipment that I need and I run up the escalators. I finally made it into the mall and now the game begins, kinda like cat and mouse.
We start looking into every store.
A few minutes later, I found her at Bebe. I get my phone and called Jonathan. Opps, I mean, “The Ninja.” He wants to be called “The Ninja” because, “You have to be like a Ninja when you photograph a celebrity. You must not be seen,” Jonathan continues. I will get into this on a day off. For now, I tell “The Ninja,” where she is. He finally meets me and we start to formulate our plan of attack. He was going to take the shots and I was going to do video.
Actually, to tell you the truth, this is where The Ninja is correct in being totally sly. There is so much security at the mall that if they spot a paparazzi taking shots, they walk you out or tell you to leave. So this is one of those times where old school techniques come in handy in undercover work.

We snapped a couple of shots.

It looked like Eva bought the entire store. Even though this is a great story, The Ninja and I missed an even bigger story. As we where shooting Eva shopping inside the mall, everyone was shooting Brad Pitt on the movie set of Ocean’s 13.
Even though all the agencies where there with Brad Pitt, his pictures always sell. I heard that even a fan wanted to sell the shots from his cell phone. This is where new technology has brought us…anyone can now be a paparazzi! Even you!
