My Tribute To Anna Nicole Smith 1967-2007 – RIP!

Back in June 2005, West Hollywood was going to have its annual Gay Pride Parade and Paris Hilton was going to be the Grand Marshall. When I got out of my house, the road block to my house had already started and my girl sent me out at Six o’ clock in the morning to see if the car was parked correctly since she was afraid that they were going to tow it away. The car was ok and I went back to the house to finish off my sleep.
When I got up, just before the parade start, I got ready and with my camera I was started for the location where Paris Hilton had her carousel. I noticed right in front of my house, this car with a banner who’s name was Anna Nicole Smith. I didn’t think too much of the car and I went to get Paris.
The parade started, I shot Paris all the way to the end of the parade and as I was heading back to my house on foot, I noticed Anna Nicole Smith on that car. She was having a blast. She was laughing, blowing kisses and waving at the people.
I started to shoot and follow her car while in the parade. She loved every minute that she was in the parade. She was wearing this silver skintight dress. She looked very good. At the end of the parade, she gets down from her car and heads to this waiting limo. We asked her for some fashion shots and she says to us, “Ok! Just wait one moment!” Then she heads inside her limo and comes out with a towel. She wipes all her sweat from he body, then her make-up artist comes up and re-applies it. She looked at us and said she was ready. We took some pictures of her.
Now that I look at the pictures, I noticed that Howard K. Stern is in the back. Huh!
Anna Nicole Smith, you were very nice with paparazzi and therefore you will always be very high on my list of cool celebs, may you Rest in Peace!

Back in April 2005, I was in Santa Monica and I jumped a story. I found three paparazzi cars parked on the very trendy Montana Ave. This street is like Robertson Blvd, where if a celeb wants to be photographed, the go to this street because they know that paparazzo’s are lurking around.
Well, these guys were in there car waiting for someone to come out of a store. This was before everyone in the world became paparazzi with peoplerazzi. Well, I parked and I got out of my car to snoop on what they were working on and I had no luck. I went back to my car. I started to wait.
There was a grocery store, a beauty salon, and a coffee shop. After visiting each one, I figured that she was at the salon since it was the only one with a back room. After a while, I finally saw movement from the waiting paparazzi.
One of them made the mistake of confirming her location. By then, all the others got out of their car and I followed. She showed up to pay for her freshly styled hair at the counter to the salon. This is when we started to hose her. She was all smiles as she left the store. It was a clean hose. Doesn’t she look great?

Back in April 2005, I was driving back to West Hollywood with my girl after visiting my parents in Riverside. I decided to take a different route and I took the 101 North to get out on Melrose Ave, instead of taking the 10 west and getting out on La Cienega Blvd.
Well, I was heading westbound on Melrose Ave and it was kinda fun. My girl and I were talking since I always drive with the radio off. Once we passed Highland Ave, I started to pay attention to the people on the road. Eventually, we were at the shops just before Fairfax Ave and to my surprise, Ice T and Coco (Nicole Austin) were greeting some fans as they walked down the street shopping.
I get my camera ready and I thought that it was a nice bonus. I shoot from across the street and I was able to get a few nice shots. Then Ice T and Coco, cross the street since they wanted to head the opposite direction. I was parked on that opposite side of the street. As he starts to approach my car, I lower the window to my car and said hello.
He says hello back to me and continues walking with Coco. I left shortly after that. When I got home and looked at my shots, I realized that Coco was showing of more to the world, she was showing off her Camel-Toe. She did it before Cameron Diaz and Paris Hilton as shown on my previous posts. Do you guys like Coco? Is her style too trashy, or what do you consider her style?

Remembering The Days With A Paris Hilton Look-A-Like!

Since I didn’t get anything good, I decided to take you back to 2005 at the Gay Pride Parade in West Hollywood when I stumbled upon a Paris Hilton Look-A-Like. I initially spotted him from far away and I really thought that it was Paris Hilton. Ok! I was looking at this look-a-like from far. I was actually somewhat conviced when I initially saw him because he was carrying a little dog just like Paris’ Tinkerbell.
I took some shots from far and then I started to approach this Paris Hilton look-a-like. As I got closer, I realized and I remembered that I was in West Hollywood.
So, he and some other photographers that probably thought the same thing about the look-a-like started to wait for the real Paris Hilton to show up. Soon Paris Hilton’s parents made it to the meeting place, and Kathy Hilton spotted the look-a-like. She then said to him, “You look like my daughter.”
They then took a picture together. Can you tell which is the real Paris Hilton?

When I was growing up one of my favorite movies was “Iron Eagle”. Anyone out there know what I am talking about? 
A movie about fighter jets and Colonel Charles ‘Chappy’ Sinclair, played by today’s honorable mention Louis Gossett Jr. He does a rescue operation to save Doug’s father, an Air Force Pilot, who was shot down by MiGs belonging to a radical Middle Eastern state [aka, Iraq]; where no one, [meaning the US government], seems able to get him out. Doug finds Chappy who is intrigued by the idea of sending in two fighters piloted by himself and Doug to rescue Doug’s father after bombing the MiG base, where their only problems are borrowing two fighters, getting them from California to the Mediterranean without anyone noticing, and Doug’s inability to hit anything unless he has music playing.
Sorry ladies… It was a total guy flick. Wow! Those where movies… Ok… back to Louis Gossett Jr.
I found Louis Gossett Jr. in early January of this year at Cafe Med. He was having a business lunch with a few hombres. When he came out I complimented him on how well he looked, considering that he is 70 years old.
Then I asked him how he was doing, to which he cheerfully replied, “I’ve been doing great. I have been living in Malibu next to the beach where I get to relax and enjoy this wonderful weather.”
He asked me to excuse him for a little bit while he said bye to his business friends. He later came back; we talked about his older projects like Iron Eagle and his current projects. Then with a smile and a few photographs later, he waves goodbye.

Whatever happened to Dave Chappelle? Did he renew his contract to continue his show on Comedy Central or are they just playing re-runs? The last I saw or heard of Dave Chappelle was when I found him back in January of this year just before he went on the Oprah Show to talk about his troubles and his escape to Africa; or was that after? Huh!
Dave was really cool with me that day when I photographed him at Fred Segal in West Hollywood. I initially found him on San Vicente heading northbound with his little convertible car. I wasn’t sure whether he was going to give me shots so I kept passing him and pulling over way ahead of him so that I could get shots of him in his car with his friends. Well, anyways, somehow we ended up at the very trendy Fred Segal.
On a side note: Have any of you guys been to Fred Segal? I don’t understand why that store is so popular. I could buy the same stuff in East LA for a better price. I saw a pair of jeans for about $700 dollars. Wow! That is almost the same as taking a trip to Hawai’i. I personally rather go to Hawai’i than buy a pair of jeans… but that is just me. What do you guys think?
Well, anyways, Dave Chappelle parked and I followed. I parked across from him so that I could get shots of him getting out of his car. Dave did not see me, but I have a feeling that his friend did. So, I knocked off a couple of shots and they go into the store. I didn’t want anyone to spot me, so I went to the alley across the street from the store. I got out of my car and I went into the building with my long lens.
I guess Dave was not into the shopping thing since he came out for a cigarette right away. Almost as if he was giving me the shots. He was looking a bit stressed out. Maybe this is when he was having trouble with his show? Who knows? I took a couple of pictures from across the street. He then regrouped with his friends and they where on their way. I didn’t follow!
Well, Dave, I hope that you are doing well.

I was driving on Melrose Ave. and as I approached Urth Cafe, I spotted this nice looking white Lamborghini parked in front of the Valet parking. I looked around and sure enough, having lunch with a new man was Nicole Mitchell Murphy, who is the ex-wife of actor and comedian Eddie Murphy.
According to the web, she has 5 children with Eddie Murphy. The children are:
1. Daughter, Bria, born on November 18, 1989 in Sacramento.
2. Son, Myles Mitchell, born on Nobember 7, 1992.
3. Daughter, Shayne Audra, born on October 10, 1994.
4. Daughter, Zola Ivy, born on December 24, 1999 in Los Angeles.
5. Daughter, Bella Zahra, born on January 29, 2002.
She looks extremely fit for a mother of five children, don’t you think?
Well, I found her being all cuddly and kissy with this new man. He got a little uncomfortable being affectionate in public by his behavior of looking around after every kiss.
Oh well, she does have a nice car.

Just the other day I was working with The Ninja in West Hollywood and he spotted this actress who was sporting herself this butt!
She was close to the local Starbucks and a newspaper stand. The Ninja just found a parking space half a block away. He had the famous and lucky Hunter, “The Hollywood Dog” with him, but he couldn’t get to the scene in time to position himself in a nice shooting location without being seen. So he let me do all the work.
I don’t think that she stopped for coffee, but she went directly to the magazines. Eventually she bought a few mags and went to her car. She waited in her car for about 10 minutes before she headed in the direction of her home.
By that time, The Ninja, Hunter, and myself were sitting at an outside table having some coffee. So have you guessed who it is?
It is no mystery, it was Michelle Trachtenberg.
