Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham Have Dinner At The Ivy

I was at home getting comfortable after a long day of shooting when my Pap Alert goes off. It was my business partner telling me that I need to get to the Ivy Restaurant ASAP since Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise, and Victoria Beckham were eating dinner there.
And I was just about finished sending all the seven sets when the call came in. I had to leave what I was doing so that I could go check out the scene.
When I got there, I was happy to see all the paparazzi still there. It just confirmed that I wasn’t late for the night gangbang. The good thing is that a lot of the photographers are day photographers and therefore don’t know how to set up their camera to get a good night shot.
I had a great chance of outselling most of the guys there, so I wasn’t too worried. The only thing that I had my doughts on, is whether the security where going to block the shots. Well, when they came out, they just stepped to the side and I was able to get some really nice shots of both Katie and Victoria. Tom Cruise was nowhere to be found. I went home after that to finish sending the other sets.

I Was Heading Home After A Long Two Hour Work Day! – The Video

Here is the story of what happened that night! Well, most of the story.
I was heading home and I noticed a few paparazzi hanging out just outside Marc Jacobs in West Hollywood. I made a U-turn and I went to park. I got my flash ready for my camera and once that was set, I walked to the store where the gangbang was already in progress. It was Katie Holmes shopping.
The attendants at the door were blocking the paparazzi from getting any shots and it was actually quite annoying. I stayed quiet and patient since I knew that she was going to be in there shopping a long time. Eventually, the louder paparazzi started to get singled out by the store workers. They started to block only them from getting any shots. Since I was quiet and patient, they let me take all the shots and video to my hearts content. Well, Katie Holmes left and I was starting to take off when all of a sudden, the people that were arguing earlier started to fight. I don’t know who through down first and I won’t go into any more details since it is not my right to judge the events that happened that night. It was an ugly fight though!

I Was Heading Home After A Long Two Hour Work Day!

After the Nicole Richie Story that I missed since she was so quick to get in her car, I headed to meet with a friend. We were going to meet at the Newsroom for a cup of coffee and to catch up on old times. I haven’t seen this particular friend in months and I was wondering what he has been up to.
He told me that he has been traveling for his company quite a bit and that he has been getting good stories. We drifted the conversation to a movie called “The Secret” and I also talked about another movie that I like called “What the BLEEP Do We Know!?”
The interesting part of the conversation is how these movies kinda relate to the same concept of “You create your own reality” and that “Everything that happens to you is because you create it.” It is very cool that we were in the same wavelength regarding our way of thinking do in part to these movies. Have any of you seen any of these movies?
Well, after an hour or so, we said “Late!” And of I went to find another story. I was actually on my way home and I stumbled on Katie Holmes at Marc Jacobs along Melrose Ave. She was doing some shopping and I was able to get a few shots.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes Play Soccer!

This past weekend, a friend of my girl and myself came to visit from Hawaii. I wasn’t planning on working but I he wanted to see at least one celebrity. So, I packed them in my car and off we were. First we stopped by Tori Spelling’s garage, well it was actually a television show, estate sale. There was a long line and we did not want to bother, so off we were again.
It was about 2:30 PM and I knew that Isabella had a soccer game. So, I asked him if he wanted to see Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Man, he was totally excited. A few minutes later we made it to the soccer field.
The game was already in progress and I found parking. My girl and our friend got out of the car while I got my long lens and my video camera ready. They went into the field to get a closer look. By this time, I was shooting a few shots from the fence. It looked like I got there just in time. It was half time and both Tom and Katie where playing soccer.
They did look like they never played any sport in their life. There coordination was a little off, but I have to give them an “A” for trying. Well, forty minutes later the game ended and I got pictures of the whole family as they went to their car. After that, my girl, myself and our mutual friend went out to eat.

Katie Holmes Is Preparing For The TOMKAT Wedding By Shopping?

I thought Katie Holmes was already making arrangements for her wedding to Tom Cruise and already on her flight to wherever they are going to get married, but Nope!
My pap alert went off. I think at that time I was working on a smaller story, Elisha Cuthbert with her mystery man. On the other line is a good friend of mine, who tells me, “Katie Holmes is on her way to Barney’s New York.” I said, “Ok!”, and off I went to Beverly Hills.
When I got there, I thought that it was a joke since no one was there. I didn’t see any cars, no paps, no Katie. But I wasn’t going to waste a good tip just because there was no one there. I took my time finding a parking space with a parking meter that had my favorite words displayed on it, “Failed Meter.” I then got all my equipment ready and I took off to the usual spot where the hose-down occurs. After about 10 minutes of waiting, the black SUV shows up.
I wasted no time to turn on my flash and my battery pack. I then noticed all these paparazzi behind her SUV running to meet her as she got out of her vehicle. I ran into the Barney’s parking lot and did the same thing. Unfortunately, I had my longs lens and I was over lensed, but I still got a few shots. Katie went into the store and I went to the other side to see if I could get any inside shots.
About two hours of waiting, Katie finally came down the elevator; she then started to walk outside. I couldn’t get any shots inside, but as I ran to the back, I prepared my camera for night photography. By the time I got there, I had changed my lens to a short lens and was therefore, ready for the gangbang.
I got some nice shots of Katie. Like usual, she was all smiles.

What The Hell Was Joey Potter Buying?

I was cruising the streets without any luck, then my Pap Alert goes off, “Katie Holmes is shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills.”
I was close to Fred Segal in West Hollywood, but since Katie has a history of shopping for hours, I wasn’t too worried about making it in time for the gangbang. Well, I had guessed that there were a bunch of photographers there already. My tipster always tells me last. 
It took me about 30 minutes to make it down to Saks Fifth Avenue. I found parking one block away in a permit parking area. The good thing is that I knew I wasn’t going to get a ticket, because the parking officers always concentrate their efforts on the paparazzi that park close to the store. I got both my cameras ready because I didn’t know what the situation would be. When I got there, everyone was already in position standing on an adjacent parking lot across from the store’s back entrance. We had a perfect view of the valet parking, so we could actually see her car in the front.
I started the wait. I chatted with some of the paparazzi that were already there. Some told me that they had been waiting for about one and a half hours. I was shocked. At least it gave me hope that she would come out soon. Well, after 2 hours of waiting, we finally see her security guard come out to check on the car. A few more minutes pass and Katie finally comes out. We only had about 10 seconds to shoot before she got into her car and was off.
I walked to my car with no intention of following her, besides, she went northbound and I was walking southbound. It would take me some time to get to my car. Sometime later as I was about to cross the street to my car, guess who I see? Yup! Katie Holmes being followed by a huge entourage of paparazzi. I said, “Oh well, I guess she wants me to follow.” I got into my car and I started the follow. She went to Neiman Marcus. The story then repeats itself. What the hell is she buying?!

I Finally Got TomKat At The Soccer Game

I arrived at the field at around 1:30 PM in preparation for the TomKat arrival. I knew that the game was going to start around 2:35 PM, because I am very smart. 
I looked around and I noticed a few familiar faces along with some new faces. Others were trickling in after I arrived. Soon there were plenty of us for a fun day at the park.
It was about 2:30 PM or so and Isabella had already warmed up. Her team was getting ready for the game. TomKat’s Head Security tells us that they are going to be arriving in about 5 minutes and that if we could be polite and not trample on each other, the people around the park, and especially on TomKat. We ar all professionals and we all agreed.
The black SUV makes a left onto the street and pulls into the driveway of the park entrance. Everyone is now excited and ready to hose. The SUV parks right in front of the pack and we start to wait for the door to open. After a few minutes, Tom Cruise walks out of the SUV alone. We follow him to the park bathroom and there we wait again for him to come out. After a minute or two, he comes out and the pack starts to hose him again. He was now heading to the fenced in soccer field. There was a security guard there so none of us could go in.
We all head to the other side of the park and the long, long, long lenses came out. Some of these guys where shooting with 500 mm with doublers. I was shooting at 300 mm with doublers. I was still able to knock off a couple of frames. I was getting bored and I decided that I was going to go back to the entrance around the park where I first started. Once I got there, I spotted Katie Holmes making a grand entrance. It was almost as if I had planned it. She smiled at me almost as if she was checking me out. j/k. I got a couple of frames as she entered the fenced in soccer field.
Now I had to run back to the other side of the park again to get shots of the couple together. I think I ended up getting over 400 shots of the couple.
The game was over. I ran back again to the other side. Luckily, TomKat were walking slow as they were being chatty with some of the other parents. After all, they have to pretend that they care for them. They need good press and that is why we were all there.
TomKat comes out and it was chaos all over again. Well, to close this story up, TomKat got in their blacked-out SUV and they left. No one followed!

We Missed TomKat at the Soccer Game!

The Ninja and myself were there early for the arrival of the TomKat caravan for Isabella’s soccer game. We got there and spotted a few paps already there. We actually thought that we were early because we thought that the game started at 1:00 PM and we were there before 12:00 PM. We waited and we waited.
By about 1:00 PM we get the call that the Caravan was on its way. Actually, we got the call that the Caravan was only a few blocks away. I turned on my flash and my video camera. I saw all the other paparazzi getting ready as well. Then we finally see the black SUV driving up. The interesting thing was that the SUV didn’t make a left on the street towards the entrance to the park. It wasn’t coming towards our direction. We saw the SUV keep going southbound.
All the paparazzi started to run southbound through the park thinking that the SUV was going to make a U-turn for a dramatic entrance. However, the SUV kept going with no intention of stopping. We waited and we waited.
I started to talk to some of the little girls in the league and they told me that Isabella doesn’t play until 4:00 PM. Wow! I thought, that is another three hours away!
To make a long story short. We left after we heard that because we didn’t want to wait for him any longer. The last I heard about the Caravan was that TomKat was headed to Pasadena. Who knows what happened after that??
I went to play tennis with my girl instead…much more fun than waiting on TomKat! Oh, and I won! Shh, don’t tell her that! 
By the way, the pictures above were from a few months ago during Connor’s baseball season. What do you guys think of the shots? Not bad huh?! Have you guys seen any of these shots in any of the Tabs? I hope you have because they were!
